Turning 63 this year, my body has never been as in need of attention as it is now. I’m so lucky to have found Helping Hands. The respect I feel as a person is incredible at every level.
Thank you for everything you have done.
Helping Hands gave me a realistic, approachable way to build better nutrition habits. With consistent support and practical guidance, I was able to stay on track and start seeing real progress without feeling restricted. What once felt overwhelming became manageable, sustainable, and part of my everyday life.
Helping Hands Wellness Center was created because too many people in Kalamazoo were falling through the cracks — working families with high deductibles, individuals between jobs, and people who simply felt embarrassed to ask for help.
Healthcare technically existed for them, but in reality, it still felt out of reach.
So a group of compassionate professionals came together to create something different: a place where people are known by name and care is thoughtful, thorough, and never rushed.
At Helping Hands Wellness Center, no one is judged or treated as less than.
The focus is on listening, understanding the full picture of someone’s health, and helping them move forward with dignity.
A local entrepreneur was between jobs and launching his own business, without insurance in the interim. He received the care he needed—quickly and free—giving him one less thing to worry about during a critical transition.
