  • Bobby J. Hopewell is President and Chief Executive Officer of Mobile Health Resources and EMS Survey Team. Bobby has 35 years of healthcare, leadership, and public service experience. He has been a Michigan Paramedic since 1986, a leader with three EMS agencies, and an administrator for two health systems. Mr. Hopewell received his Master of Arts in Organizational Learning and Performance from Western Michigan University. Bobby was appointed by Governor Whitmer to the Michigan Economic Development Corporation Executive Committee and appointed by Governor Snyder to the Michigan Community Corrections Board. He also serves as a founding and Lifetime Emeritus member of the Kalamazoo Foundation for Excellence. Bobby earned his Bachelor of Arts in Public Service/EMS Administration from Siena Heights University. Additionally, Bobby served from 2007-2019 as the 30th Mayor of the City of Kalamazoo, Michigan.

  • Mason is a dedicated commercial loan officer at Honor Credit Union, where he thrives on empowering businesses to reach their financial aspirations. He studied Finance at Trine University and earned his Master of Business Administration.

    He's not just about numbers; Mason actively engages in community building as a Chamber ambassador and contributes his expertise to the housing committee at Habitat for Humanity, embodying his commitment to making a positive impact wherever he goes. Mason finds joy in outdoor adventures with his wife, two dogs, and their new bundle of joy

  • Lashae Simmons is a Financial Advisor with Northwestern Mutual and The Founder of Black Wall Street Muskegon. As a Financial Advisor passionate about reducing "entrepreneurial poverty," "impoverished mindsets," and teaching others how to manage their money in a way that keeps life desirable. In 2015, Lashae graduated from Western Michigan University, gaining a bachelor's in Business, Advertising, and Promotions. Becoming a part of the very elite, "2% of teen mothers graduate with an associate degree by age 30." Lashae started her financial career at Pnc and quickly moved up the ranks. Currently, Lashae is independently contracted to Northwestern Mutual. Lashae has placed top three in her district and won pacesetter first 40 and second 60. Through her hard work and dedication, she has continued to be a top performer. Lashae was recently named WMU Haworth College of Business 30 under 30 recipients. She shares her financial wisdom to educate others on how to use their income to spend their life living, build thriving businesses and create their desired lifestyles. Her philosophy is "Demure Dominates Domination, Dominate Dominating." Quoted by Lashae's favorite basketball player, the late Kobe Bryant. Lashae has helped hundreds of clients achieve their financial goals, manage their small businesses, and more efficient marketing strategies, raising her very active 11-year-old son and cheerful 10-year-old daughter as a single mother.

  • Kellie lives locally in the Kalamazoo area with her two sons and two spoiled dogs. She has owned and successfully run a digital marketing company for the past ten years, helping businesses find and express their digital footprint.

    She has been involved with the Southwest Michigan Small Business Development Center for the past few years, where she consults with local businesses on their marketing needs to encourage growth. Kellie has also held a variety of marketing classes for local business owners and entrepreneurs through the SCORE group, teaching more hands-on marketing for their businesses. She has also actively served on the Kalamazoo Women2Women board for the past four years.

    Kellie has recently stepped into a more active role as the executive director for the international nonprofit Jericho Foundation. This role requires extensive fundraising and traveling to Bosnia Herzegovina several times a year to help run leadership seminars for college students awarded a full scholarship from the foundation.
